Garment makers in China eye recovery as orders pick upAccording to a recent just-style article, exporters say orders are picking up. Edward Kang, chief executive of Nanjing-based Ever-glory, said "exports are mostly better than 2Q." Kang expects Ever-glory sales to increase at least 10% in 2010 based on new business won through its recent investment in new product development capabilities. Paul Zheng, general manager of Beijing Guanghua Textile Group, said: "We're getting more orders from European customers. In the first half, they were worried about consumer confidence.
