Sri Lanka makers urge retailers to back green garments

Sri Lankan garment factories say they are not asking for higher prices for environmentally friendly garments - just more orders. And, at a time when margins are threatened by slowing Western economies, the proposition could be a win-win for both Sri Lankan manufacturers and international buyers.
