Web snares UK shoppers
Despite much publicity about the difficulties experienced in the business-to-consumer market, online retail sales in the UK continue to grow massively. In 1999, the online shopping market was worth £581m. In 2000 it was worth about £1.35bn - an increase of 130 per cent.
