Apparel brand Joseph Abboud has tied up a deal with the US National Football League (NFL) to be the official off-field clothier of the NFL "Coaches Club" for the next three years.
It means Joseph Abboud will provide tailored clothing, dress shirts, ties and dress sportswear to all Coaches Club members for wear off the field. The Coaches Club includes 31 of the 32 NFL coaches.
"We at Joseph Abboud are delighted to be extending our partnership with the NFL," said Marty Staff, the president and chief executive officer of JA Apparel Corp. "We love to see the league's great coaches wearing our great clothes. We have been dressing athletes and coaches for many years and I think it's a terrific way to demonstrate the outstanding fit of an American-made Joseph Abboud suit. Few things are more American than NFL football and we are the pre-eminent American menswear designer. It's a perfect match."
Joseph Abboud recently announced plans to export its American-made suits to China, where its branded stores will be opening this fall. It has also designed a new men's wear collection for department store operator Lord and Taylor, called Black Brown 1826, which will be launched next month.

US: Joseph Abboud to dress NFL coaches
The final paragraph is incorrect. Joseph Abboud (JA Apparel) is NOT making or involved with Lord & Taylor's Black/Brown 1826. It's being designed by Joseph Abboud the designer, who, as we all know, has nothing to do with Joseph Abboud the brand.
