JAPAN: Triumph unveils solar power bra

Underwear maker Triumph International Japan has unveiled a new bra concept with a solar panel mounted around the waist area.

An electronic message board below the bright green bra's two cups lights up when the panel, which is about 15 x 21cm, is connected.

Triumph says the brassiere can generate enough electric energy to power a mobile phone or an iPod.

Unfortunately, the Solar Power Bra cannot be washed or worn on a rainy day - perhaps forever ruling out its debut in damp and drizzly climates like the UK.
