Plastic clog maker Crocs has launched a new collection called Prepair, which it says helps athletes recover following athletic or fitness activity.

The new line has been approved as the official recovery shoe for the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), Crocs said.

The Crocs Prepair line, includes three recovery shoes for men and women - a clog costing US$39.99, a slide at $34.99 and a flip at $34.99.

"The Prepair Recovery Collection is a natural progression for us as we continue to expand our product lines and target active consumers," said Doug Hayes, VP of Crocs North America. "For years, athletes have been wearing Crocs shoes due to their superior function and comfort. The Prepair Collection provides many notable enhancements with benefits that make our shoes the premier choice for any athlete looking for recovery footwear."
