US: Amazon completes Zappos buy

Online retail giant Amazon has completed its acquisition of internet apparel and footwear seller Zappos.com, which was first revealed back in July.
As part of the shares and cash deal, which is worth a total of nearly US$850m, the Zappos management team will remain intact, and Zappos will operate independently with headquarters in Las Vegas.
