THAILAND: PTT Chemical invests $150m in Ingeo fibre firm

Thailand's largest chemical producer, PTT Chemical Public Company Limited, is investing US$150m in NatureWorks, which makes Ingeo branded biopolymers from renewable sources such as corn, which are used in a range of end-uses including clothing and textile fibres.

GERMANY: Trevira to manufacture Ingeo fibres
