US: Hartmarx sale finally goes through 

Chicago-based men's suit maker Hartmarx has finally been saved from liquidation after being sold to British private equity firm Emerisque Brands and its partner SKNL North America.

I'm glad to read how excited and happy the people with Hartmarx and Emerisque are. I wish that some of them could have been at Anniston Sportswear this morning at 6:30 am. There were alot of people trying real hard to hold their selves together long enough to pick up one of their last checks, and any personal items they may have in the building. Some of them have been there 40+ years. Most of them found out about the closing through the grape vine, over the weekend, and I saw at least one woman with her lunch bag this morning. I'm sure there were some folks in Ill that were also trying to hold their selves together. What a way to start a Monday morning. Everybody just hang in there. Everything will be all right.Smile ~j~
