GERMANY: Metro trials RFID-based anti-theft solution
German retail giant Metro Group is partnering with Checkpoint Systems to launch the first customer trial of an RFID-based electronic article surveillance (EAS) solution to tackle shrink management and merchandise visibility.

I don't know if this is too commercial of me to post, but Checkpoint Systems and Dr. Wolfram will be in Darmstadt next week at RFID Journal LIVE! Europe if anyone is interested.
