US: Levi's rolls out life-cycle product tags 

US denim firm Levi Strauss & Co said that from January 2010 it will be the first major retailer to include messaging on product care tags that encourage people to donate unwanted clothing.

Smile I have a very novish query:-- Is the "Recycling of Used clothings" safe? Although it will be cleaned or may be madicated , but is there any chances of contamination or transformation of diseases ? Will it be advisable or approved by WHO ?
