Freshtex International, a member of the Alt-Group in Heilbronn has retroactively to 1 January 2006 taken over Lesorste in Focsani, Romania, which was integrated into the existing finishing plant. The new company with its 700 employees, who will mainly produce for Levi and H&M with a capacity of 2.5 million jeans annually, has been renamed as Freshtex Apparel Services Romania. With this acquisition and the 3 existing finishing plants Freshtex Apparel has risen to the position of market leader for full package service in Romania. Considerable expansion of the actual capacities is being planned in eastern Romania on the basis of new customer requests for the months to come.
With this strategy Freshtex aims at supplying their customers with a comprehensive service of high quality standard, including all important features like development, production, washing, finishing and the necessary logistics.
In order to offer their customers a worldwide service network the group will further check opportunities for buying new apparel and finishing companies in eastern Europe and Asia. With this takeover the turnover planned for 2006 will rise to 120 million €, which meets exactly the group’s sales target of 300 million € until 2010.
