On August 22 Guido Dohm has been appointed as general manager of FRESHTEX INTERNATIONAL Apparel-Service GmbH, Heilbronn and will also be responsible within the ALT GROUP as Divisional CEO for the whole business unit of FRESHTEX APPAREL.
With the appointment of Guido Dohm the founder and president of the group, Franz L. Alt has rearranged the leadership of FRESHTEX INTERNATIONAL. By means of reorganizing all business units into the two divisions GARMENT FINISHING and APPAREL the business group of the garment industry can offer a large variety of services out of one source almost along the whole chain of supply.
Franz L. Alt remains as Divisional CEO the leader of the Division FRESHTEX GARMENT FINISHING, which also includes the Heilbronn FRESHTEX INTERNATIONAL Textile Service GmbH, as well as of the Holding of the group. The globally structured business group has been a reliable partner for numerous international customers of the garment industry for more than 50 years in the areas of washing, dyeing, finishing and special effects. Production takes place in more than 30 plants in Europe, America and Asia with more than 5.000 employees (www. freshtex.com).
Guido Dohm will be leading the division FRESHTEX APPAREL as Divisional CEO. Apart from FRESHTEX INTERNATIONAL Apparel Service GmbH, FRESHTEX LOGISTICS GmbH, Deggendorf and Fortuneglobe GmbH, München (www.fortuneglobe.com) are now also part of this division. Joachim Laux and Thorsten Höllger will remain the managers of these two companies. FRESHTEX INTERNATIONAL Apparel Service GmbH develops, produces and delivers the finished product in close cooperation with the customer, starting with a creative concept all the way through the technical development of the product to the complete supply and production. Washing, dyeing and finishing is done in the plants that are part of the division FRESTEX GARMENT FINISHING, design and development is effected in Munich and in the Development Centers in Istanbul, Hong Kong and Los Angeles, the production is completed by company owned tailoring plants which are located close to Freshtex washing plants as well as by business partners in production. Subsequent to the production, FRESHTEX LOGISTICS offers an extensive range of services along the chain of delivery of textiles including quality control as well as extensive tailoring and finishing services. As far as marketing is concerned, FRESHTEX APPAREL together with Fortuneglobe GmbH covers already today for different customers all services that are related with the operation of an online store: E-Commerce Software, Hosting, Web-Design, Online Marketing, Shop Administration, Order Handling and in cooperation with FRESHTEX LOGISTICS also fulfilment.
Guido Dohm (41) was up until recently as the manager (COO) responsible for the departments Buying, Acquisition, Logistics, Supply Chain, Management and licences with TOM TAILOR. Before that Dohm had been holding a similar position as Division Manager and General Manager with Laurèl GmbH, Aschheim for the ESCADA group. Other positions of the graduate industrial engineer of the apparel industry, which he both held for several years, were with RENE LEZARD and HUGO BOSS.
