Syscom PLC has announced the release of SyscomERP V6.0, which is a major milestone in the development of its popular ERP solution for the fashion, footwear and textile industries. Eveden Group, the global market leading lingerie and swimwear business, have signed a contract with Syscom PLC worth in excess of £2M to upgrade their current software to SyscomERP V6.0.

Based in Northamptonshire, Eveden are the market leaders in the design, manufacture and distribution of high quality, fashion conscious lingerie and swimwear for the fuller cup and fuller figure market. Their brand portfolio includes Fantasie, Goddess, Fauve and Freya; sponsors of UKTV Style’s ‘The Clothes Show’. Eveden brands are stocked in leading department stores and good Independent lingerie boutiques worldwide.

The Group have also recently expanded their operations opening retail stores in Cardiff, York and Bluewater under the brand name of Leia, stocking their own and other leading brands to offer a high service fitting solution for all women.

Eveden has been using Syscom’s legacy application, SYSTEX, for over 10 years across their manufacturing operations in the UK and overseas. Tony Thwaites, Chairman of the Group said, “the move to upgrade to SyscomERP V6.0 gives us the latest technology and flexibility to continue to grow and diversify our business. This system gives us total integration across our manufacturing and distribution operations both here in the UK and worldwide.”

SyscomERP V6.0 is the culmination of 18 months of dedicated product development by Syscom PLC to increase the range of functionality from within one integrated solution.

SyscomERP has had major developments to increase ease of use in common day to day transactions and the introduction of new modules to manage more areas of the business. In an increasingly complex supply chain environment there has been significant enhancements to forecasting to meet forward demand and in allocations to address current availability, so that maximum return can be achieved with minimum inventory investment.

Integrated with SyscomERP is the existing SyscomPDM browser based Product Development Module. SyscomPDM is dedicated to the design and pre-production process control phase of a product lifecycle.
Syscom believe that incorporating a retail offering integrated to SyscomERP is essential in catering for the fashion market’s multiple distribution channels. RMS is a dedicated retail suite incorporating head office sales management and store operations. This is designed to be simple to operate, but robust with multiple redundancy points for maximum reliability.

Syscom PLC believes in continued investment in the solutions that they provide, looking at the changing requirements for its customers so that as their business needs change the business systems are already available.
