This ensures a stable, high performance transactional environment. It is configurable and can be easily integrated with other stand-alone systems when required.

Lawson M3 Smart Office

With Lawson M3 Smart Office, you can leverage the full potential and value of your Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System installation. It helps enhance user productivity with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) user interface that’s both functional and fun to use. Users can personalize their work space by bringing together enterprise applications, business intelligence, desktop tools as well as collaborate more easily with each other. The Smart Office interface uses Microsoft® .Net and for Middleware, we’ve adopted the industry standard IBM® WebSphere.

How easy will it be to get data in and out of Lawson for Fashion and into our other systems, customer systems, etc.?

With Lawson for Fashion, you can easily exchange data via electronic data interchange (EDI) or XML messages and most of the functions are Application Programming Interface (API) enabled. You can also use web services to transfer data in and out of the system. In order to provide a full end-to-end solution for EDI, we teamed up with two of the industry leaders – Axway and Seeburger. Having two partners means we can give you more choice when selecting an EDI product. Both solutions have been verified by Lawson Product Development to work with the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System standard supported EDI messages.
