The global textiles, apparel and luxury goods market consists of the total revenues generated through the sale of men's, women's and children's clothing (clothing accessories are not included) footwear, luxury goods, and textiles. Luxury goods include: jewelry, watches and leather goods sector (handbags, wallets and luggage). Textiles include yarns, fabrics and non-apparel products. The textiles segment is valued at manufacturers selling price while apparel and luxury goods are valued at retail selling price. Any currency conversions are calculated using constant 2009 annual average exchange rates.

For the purposes of this report, the global market consists of North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

North America consists of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

South America comprises Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Venezuela.
