The Clothesource World Apparel Sourcing Monitor 2012
Report description
The Monitor contains hundreds of thousands of pieces of data about individual countries’ changing share of 34 product categories, growth import duty and prices, updated to the end of the first quarter of 2010, and shows changes since quotas were removed at the end of 2004. It provides data on raw material production and processing capacity, and summarise the import duty imposed by the US and EU on each country. The Monitor provides macroeconomic information on income and inflation, and a summary of the logistical and ethical implications of working in the country. Presenting all this is easiest in an Excel program, so the Monitor consists of an Excel workbook and a user manual.
