More than 1,200 workers at underwear maker Triumph Company in Binh Duong province went on strike on Thursday in a dispute over pay and overtime.

Employees at the company, which is backed by German investors, claim their salary is calculated on a production rather than time basis and also want a new trade union to be set up.
