UK: Adams Expands Brands And Business
Adams, the UK-based childrenswear retailer, is set to turn in a healthy profit when it reports its results at the end of the month. Business is growing for the company, founded in 1933, despite the continued squeeze on the mid-market in the UK. And Adams aims to keep growing through price cuts, a venture into new shopping channels such as the Internet and mail order, and the launch of new brands and instore initiatives.
