Adidas and the US Youth Soccer Association have extended a marketing partnership that initially began in 1989.

The extension means Adidas will remains the official sponsor and supplier of US Youth Soccer until 2010, with option years that could extend the relationship to 2014.

"We value our long-standing partnership with Adidas. From product placement to branding, signage and programming, it is a model example of a fully integrated sponsorship," said Jim Cosgrove, US Youth Soccer executive director.

Adidas also has partnerships with soccer clubs including AC Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
