German sportswear giant Adidas-Salomon AG on Thursday it had achieved its sales and profit aims for 2002 and reaffirmed its 2003 outlook.

The company, which has just bought the Maxfli brand of golf balls and equipment, said it expects to post a five per cent year-on-year climb in 2002 sales growth and earnings growth of around 10 per cent.

It sees sales growth of five per cent for 2003 and an unspecified rise in net profit. It added it will release its 2002 profit figures next month.
