German sportswear giant Adidas-Salomon AG on Thursday announced a 15.2 per cent jump in third quarter net profit on soaring sports shoe sales and reaffirmed its five per cent sales growth outlook for the full-year. The Herzogenaurach-based company said in a statement its quarterly net profit rose to 131 million euros from 114 million euros in the year-ago period with sales up 4.4 per cent year-on-year to 1.86 billion euros.
