UK: Arcadia, New Look and Barratts sue shopping centre

Topshop and Burton operator Arcadia is one of four retailers suing the owners of a shopping centre in Bournemoth for profit loss caused by temporary closure last year.

Arcadia, along with New Look, Barratts and Boots are suing the owners for nearly GBP2m (US$3.90m) in litigation led by law firm DLA Piper, reported The Times.

The companies were forced to shut outlets for more than six weeks after concrete fell from the centre's car park's roof.
