Author: | 23 February 2009

Leading online fashion retailer Asos has launched a new children's wear line under the name 'Little Asos'.

The collection will cater for babies up to 24 months and girls and boys aged from 2 to 6 years, and will offer a line-up of over 40 labels.

As well as stocking ranges from high fashion brands including Diesel, Tommy Hilfiger, Miss Sixty and True Religion, Little asos will sell boutique and independent labels such as Cath Kidston, No Added Sugar and Bob & Blossom.

Clothing prices will range from GBP6 to GBP120 and accessories from GBP4 to GBP120.

Asos has so far bucked the economic downturn with its combination of young fashion and the internet, with Christmas sales soaring by 108% year-on-year.

Set up in June 2000, AIM-listed Asos sells more than 17,500 branded and own label product lines across women's wear, men's wear, footwear, accessories, jewellery and beauty. It adds around 1,150 new products each week.

Sectors: Apparel, Retail
