Israeli clothing maker Bagir is believed to be mulling overseas expansion, adding new plants in India and Japan to its factories in Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Portugal and joint-owned operations in Romania, Turkey and Poland. According to the country's Globes news service, Bagir general manager Ofer Gilboa said the company was considering entering the Indian and Japanese markets. He said Bagir was also looking at manufacturing in China. "We're not talking about setting up a plant, but a partnership with an existing plant," he said.
