The sale of bankrupt Slovenian textile producer MTT Melje failed yesterday - as no bidders turned up. The debt-ridden firm went bust three years ago and owes around $11.7 million to creditors, including $4.3m to 3,000 former workers. Its assets are valued at $1.07m and include a storehouse, an office complex and several other buildings, but no-one bothered attending Monday's public tender. MTT Melje currently employs around 200 people.
