US: B&H Company selects YuniquePLM FS tool
By Leonie Barrie | 10 September 2012
Southern California-based apparel manufacturer B&H Company has selected Gerber Technology's YuniquePLM FS (Fast Start) product lifecycle management software to help manage the launch later this year of its newest high-end women's clothing line.
The vertically-integrated manufacturer hopes to reduce cycle times from design to production with the new tool. It will also improve data organisation, minimise errors and streamline production processes.
"We expect it to help us improve the way we manage our information and our business processes," says Waleed Mansour, CFO of B&H Company, which was founded in 1988 and supplies knit tops to retailers worldwide.
Product development times should also be shortened since the production team will have access to information through a single, integrated system.
In the future, B&H plans to integrate YuniquePLM with other enterprise systems to strengthen communication across the company.
