Surfwear group Billabong International Limited is to buy a stake in Australia's leading online boardsports retailer, Surfstitch, for an undisclosed sum.
The agreement will also give Billabong the option to acquire 100% of the business, the company said today (23 December).
The deal comes a month after Billabong revealed plans to buy US-based online boardsports retailer swell.com, in a move to allow it to manage its brands in the growing online market.
