US: Blackhawk moves into men's footwear market

Tactical gear manufacturer Blackhawk has entered the men's footwear market with a new Tanto Light Hiker shoe, the company announced.

Its all-purpose trail shoe is designed to transit from outdoor to casual indoor wear.

Blackhawk said that the Tanto Light Hiker has a moulded anti-microbial Ortholite footbed, with multi-directional lugs on the sole for better traction.

The men's hiking shoes are available in sizes 6M to 14W in the US and have an MSRP of $99.99.

Virginia-based Blackhawk is known for manufacturing tactical gear, body armour, law enforcement duty gear, holsters, hydration systems and protective gloves and gear.
