US: Calvin Klein promotes Tom Murry to CEO

Tom Murry has been promoted to the post of president and chief executive officer of Calvin Klein Inc after serving as the company's president and chief operating officer for the last six years.
Murry, who has been with the company for more than 11 years, has overseen its global growth trajectory as well as helping its smooth integration into Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation in 2003.
Emanuel Chirico, CEO, Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation said that under Tom's leadership, "the Calvin Klein business has more than doubled in size to over $6bn in global retail sales."
He added: "He has worked with the talented team at Calvin Klein to expand the brand worldwide and has achieved this record growth while maintaining Calvin Klein's position as the premier designer brand."
