US: Casual Male names Walker CMO

Men's wear retailer Casual Male has appointed Derrick Walker as chief marketing officer and senior vice president.

Walker's responsibilities will include all aspects of the company's marketing operations. He will also assume the leadership role in creating and building brand recognition for the Casual Male's new DestinationXL brand.

David Levin, president and CEO, said: "He [Walker] will serve a leadership role in balancing the Company's primarily existing direct customer contact strategy with brand marketing in expanded media channels such as digital and social media intended to raise market awareness of the DestinationXL brand."
