Leading French textile firm Chargeurs SA on Monday cited a sharp slowdown in sales - mainly in the US - for a 6.4 per cent slide in fourth quarter revenue to 294 million euros compared to 314m euros in the year ago period. In a statement, Chargeurs said that for the 12 months to December 31, 2001, revenue climbed three per cent to 1.23 billion euros from 1.2bn euros in 2000.
