USA: Cherokee Net Earnings Up By 51 Per Cent

Cherokee Inc (Nasdaq: CHKE), licensors of brand names for apparel, footwear and accessories, today reported a 51 per cent increase in the company's net earnings per share for the six months ended July 29, 2000 ("Six Months"). Highlights: Six months net earnings per share increased 51 per cent to $0.83 per share from $0.55 per share in year-ago six months.
