USA: Cherokee Signs Deal With Roots Canada

Licensor and brand manager Cherokee Inc has signed an exclusive deal to represent Roots Canada's athletic lifestyle merchandise in the US.

Under the terms of the deal, Cherokee will engineer strategic retail direct licensing opportunities for Roots Canada's products, which include clothing, leather goods and accessories.

Anthony Damiani, Cherokee's vice president of brand development, referred to Roots' partnerships with Olympic Games teams of the US, Canada, Great Britain and said: "the opportunity to partner with the US Olympic program with Roots offers an unmatched retail opportunity."

Cherokee Inc is a marketer, licensor and manager of brands it owns and represents.

The Roots brand covers a wide range of quality clothing, leather goods and accessories for men and women of all ages.
