US: Children's Place CFO Baginski resigns

Steven Baginski, chief financial officer of The Children's Place, is leaving the company to pursue other interests after just seven months in the role.
Baginski will be replaced by Michael Scarpa, who will join the children's wear retailer on 3 December. He will report to the company's president and CEO Jane Elfers.
Scarpa most recently served as CFO and COO of women's wear retailer The Talbots. He has previously held various positions at Liz Claiborne (formerly Liz Claiborne Inc) and intimate apparel maker Maidenform.
