Clothing maker and retailer Baltika AS on Monday revealed it swung to a second quarter from the year-ago period loss despite a slight rise in sales.

The company posted a net loss of 9.3 million Eeks versus a year-ago profit of 1.8 million Eeks.

Sales rose to 108.4 million Eeks from 107.3 million Eeks in the same period of 2002 with the vast majority of its first half revenue generated by its new retail brand Monton.
