Leading Hungarian clothes producer Styl Ruhagyar on Friday reported a rise in pre-tax profit to 2.1 million euros ($1.8m) from a loss of 457,000 euros ($398,000)  in 2000. The firm boosted sales by 2.7 per cent in 2001 despite a 14 per cent plunge in domestic sales due to the sale of Styl Ruhagyar's distributor in May 2001.
