A new scheme aimed at protecting the pay, conditions and rights of outworkers, has this week been launched by the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union (TCFU) in Australia, reports Asia Pulse. The scheme will see a 'No Sweatshop' certification label sewn into garments sold by retailers who have agreed to abide by the Homeworkers Code of Practice, a code that has been produced in collaboration with the major industry bodies and several of the country's top employers.
