JAPAN: Cold weather hits Uniqlo sales in March

Same store sales in Uniqlo's Japanese retail outlets slumped 16% in March as cold weather hampered sales of its spring clothing lines.

Parent Fast Retailing said the year-on-year drop was accompanied by an 8.4% sales fall at Uniqlo Japan's own stores, while total sales, including retail and online, were down 7.9%.
