US: Columbia Sportswear VP footwear quits

Active apparel and shoe company Columbia Sportswear said VP of footwear Brad Gebhard has resigned.

 

Gebhard will now pursue other opportunities, the company said.

 

Columbia said it will immediately start a search for a replacement and that in the meantime a team led by VP of sales, Mick McCormick, will oversee the firm's footwear division.

 

"I appreciate the contributions Brad has made to all of our brands, including Columbia, Sorel and the recently acquired Montrail brand," said Tim Boyle, president and CEO.
