UK: Coolmax/Tencel launch active apparel fabrics
By just-style.com | 29 October 2007
A new range of fabrics combining the properties of Advansa Coolmax and Lenzing Tencel has been launched for the active apparel market.
Coolmax is a high-tech fabric that keeps users dry and comfortable, while Tencel is a natural lyocell fibre whose structure helps regulate the body against temperature changes.
Blending yarns with both Coolmax and Tencel in single jersey or double sided fabrics provides added comfort and performance through a combination of wicking, evaporative cooling and thermal buffering.
Coolmax wicks perspiration away from the skin, while a blend of Tencel/Coolmax will spread and evaporate perspiration, cooling the fabric in the process.
Sectors: Apparel, Fibres & fabrics
Companies: Coolmax, Tencel, Advansa, Lenzing
