WORLD: Cotton prices edge up to an 11-month high

Cotton prices edged up to an 11-month high at the end of last week, buoyed by recent forecasts suggesting that global cotton stocks will be lower than expected, with consumption exceeding production, and efforts ongoing to build Chinese cotton reserves.
