Department store group, Daimaru Australia, continues to lose money, with latest figures showing that the rate of loss shows no sign of slowing up, the Melbourne Age reported today. For the 1999-2000 year, Daimaru Australia lost A$10,087,787 - up from A$8,396,896 previously. The loss was on sales of about A$82m, which compared with close to A$90m in the previous corresponding period.
