French sports goods retailer Decathlon has started selling on the internet again after an absence of several years.

The company withdrew from selling its goods online in 2003 due to lack of profitability.

From its site, www.koodza.fr, Decathlon retails its own brands from a catalogue containing up to 4,000 different product items. These include Tribord (water sports), Quechua, (mountain sports) and Kalenji (running wear).

The koodza service only delivers to addresses in France.
