US: Deckers net income fall countered by Ugg success

Footwear firm Deckers Outdoor Corporation posted net income for the first quarter of the year down to US$12.4m, from $11.3m in the prior year period, but said high demand for its Ugg boots had aided 37.6% overall sales growth.
