A company which produces shirts and clothing for US cartoon and entertainment giant Disney, The Lucky Star Apparel Corp, has relocated from Hong Kong to the Philippines in a move that will create at least 400 new jobs. The company has invested $1 million in a new factory in the Clark economic zone which is home to firms that make apparel for leading labels including Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Nautica, Eddie Bauer, Perry Ellis and Liz Claiborne.
