Spanish sretch-fibres company Dogi has launched Winn, Wellness+Innovation, a new line of nanotechnology fibres that expand its aloe vera-based products introduced last year.

The concept allows Dogi to make fibres with cosmetic, pharmaceutical and medicinal properties through the use of nanotechnology.

The company hopes to add "several vitamins and new substances" to the fibres to position them in the anti-ageing and medical markets.

Dogi said lingerie companies in Europe, China and New Zealand have ordered the Winn fibres while a number of US clients have expressed interest. The nanotechnology market has huge potential, the company said, adding that one out of ten textiles will be nanotech products in 2014.
