Donna Karan International Inc (NYSE: DK) today reported improved second quarter results, although the company's retail segment performed poorly with like-for-like sales down 13.1 per cent. Second Quarter Net revenues for the second quarter of 2000 were $120.5m compared to $122m in 1999, a decrease of 1.2 per cent.Net loss in the second quarter of 2000 was $7m, or $0.32 per share on a diluted basis, compared to a net loss of $7.9m in 1999, or $0.36 per share on a diluted basis, an 11.3 per cent improvement.
