US: DuPont launches lighter weight fireman's suit

DuPont has launched its new Tychem BR garment, certified to the National Fire Protection Agency in the US.

The new garment is lighter weight and less cumbersome than a traditional fully encapsulated suit, the science-based products and services company said.

DuPont said it also provides increased vapour and liquid protection, and has been tested against more than 240 chemicals.
