Textiles could be among $2 billion worth of US exports slapped with tit-for-tat tariffs by officials at the European Commission in the row over US steel tariffs, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. The New York-based newspaper said the EU is poised to strike back after the US imposed a shock 30 per cent tariff on steel imports. However, it said no decision was expected for several months amid fears such a move could worsen the situation.
